I found this 40% off at the official website here
We think we are prepared, until we find ourselves in a situation where we are not (like I did).
It’s dangerous to be caught unprepared. One of the key parts of my exit strategy involves driving to a remote location but getting there safely requires alot of thought.
We depend on our vehicle to be ready at all times and to be prepared for any issue that arises. To be honest, it can be a little stressful to try and plan all of this out.
In a recent practice scenario, I went through the usual checklist with my family. Having checked my truck, loaded everything up, we were finally ready to leave.
I totally forgot to check this in advance
Our family hit the road and we were well on our way. The drive is a little over two hours away but we were making good time.
The trip was going as planned, my wife beside me, the kids with their heads buried in their games, weather was fine – we couldn’t wait to arrive.
About an hour in we hit one of these signs… and none of us worried as we already had a full tank of gas.
“40 miles after the sign, it started happening…”
From now on, I will always carry one of these.
About 40 miles after the sign, it started happening. My wife looks over at me and goes:
“What is that shaking coming from the truck?”
Then all of a sudden the steering wheel was shaking due to the front right tire. We were half way to our destination and I had no choice but to stop.
My tire had a picked up not one but TWO nails somewhere along the way and I was not going any further until it was fixed.
But I’m experienced at changing out a tire, so I said to myself this shouldn’t take long at all - or so I thought.
We were literally in the middle-of-nowhere
We pulled aside to looked at the tire and sure enough, it was completely flat
Frustrated, we scrambled to get out of the truck because continuing to drive was obviously way too dangerous and we were losing time!
Afterall, we are stuck in the middle of nowhere we had no other choice but to solve this ourselves and we refrained from just calling a tow truck that would have cost hundreds of dollars and hours of time anyhow - and defeats the purpose.
BUT THEN… we pulled out the spare tire and it was almost flat too.
I forgot to check the spare tire
Just great, now what are we going to do? I thought I had this handled but clearly I am not prepared.
What’s worse, the sun was beginning to set and we didn’t have much light left in the day.
Then randomly about 15 minutes later, a nice man near our age in a small pickup truck pulled over to check on us and asked if we needed any help.
“Hey ya’ll, just want to check if you need any help?”
My wife explained that our tire had a nail and our spare tire was too low on air to use. We were about to try to call a towing service so I just told the man not to worry but thanks.
“Oh my! Well don’t you worry about that, give me a sec and I’ll get you going here”
We didn’t know what he was going to grab… it’s not like this man had a spare tire to give us.
He reached into the glovebox and pulled out this small device, “Airmoto” he called it… He said he saw it online and bought one a few months ago. He’s already used it himself and helped several people with it!
He connected it and checked the PSI, our tire had dropped to a dangerously low 14psi on the spare. He assured us not to worry and to cancel the tow truck that we just called, he’ll pump the tire back up to 35psi within a few minutes, right here.
That was pretty hard to believe, this gadget was the size of his hand… It’s not like he was carrying around a compressed gas machine or anything, there was no way this little thing could blow up a dead tire, especially with the weight of the truck on top.
He told me this is where he bought it online here.
Wow, in just a few minutes it was fixed!
It took just a few minutes to fix our low tire pressure.
Sure enough, he quickly connected it (without even hoisting the truck up), pressed the power button and the Airmoto started going. It sounded just like an industrial air pump but smaller and much quieter. It seemed to be working so we just let it keep going. In under 5 minutes, he looked over at us,
“All done, this tire is good to go now. Make sure to cancel that tow truck, you’re good to drive! I’ll go ahead and make sure your other tires are all good to go too.”
We couldn’t believe it, he checked the tire multiple times and sure enough, it was at 35psi, we’d are good to drive.
Two more minutes and he had every single tire at 35psi around the entire truck, our back-left tire was also a little low at 26psi before he fixed it with the Airmoto.
Just like that, we were hitting the road and owed it all to that little device, which was an absolute lifesaver.
During the drive I found the product on my phone and immediately ordered 3, one for each of our vehicles.
We never wanted to be caught unprepared for this ever again.
So, I bet now you’re probably wondering…
What Is Airmoto?
Airmoto is a compact, rechargeable and smart air pump that is very simple to use.
It’s a super powerful air pump but so small and portable. It comes with a nozzle that plugs into the top of the device and into the tire. The moment you plug it in, you’ll see your current tire PSI on the LED screen.
Why I Got One for Every Vehicle We Own
It’s a life saver, I can’t believe I didn’t have one of these already.
So easy to use…
Press the power button and set the desired PSI.
Attach the hose to your tire and press the main button to start Airmoto. It will instantly start inflating the tire up to the set PSI.
Once the correct PSI is reached, the Airmoto will shut off automatically, meaning you can start it, set it down and get back to what you were doing before-hand.
It also works as a portable power bank!
That’s not all either, the Airmoto is also a portable power bank!. You can even use it to charge your phone in the car!
Airmoto Inflates Almost Anything
It doesn’t end there, the Airmoto works with so much more than just car tires.
Being one of the few devices that can pump up to 120psi, it’s the perfect tool to inflate bike tires perfectly, all the way to 120psi. That’s not something you can do with a hand pump.
Smaller than your water bottle, it’s easy to carry around on your Bike wherever you go.
You can use Airmoto for so many things such as:
- Basketballs, Footballs and Soccerballs.
- Bike Tires
- Car Tires
- Inflatable Tubes
- Inflatable Air Mattresses
- Pool Toys
- And much more
By now I’m sure you’re saying…
Sounds Great, But How Much Does it Cost?
The Airmoto has saved me over $1,000 in tires, time and headaches. None of us are looking to break the bank to buy an industrial tire inflator that you see in shops. Just to get one of those you’d have to spend well over $300.
Not to mention those devices all need to be plugged into the wall, I’ve never even heard of a compact, rechargeable and portable inflating device until I discovered the Airmoto on that trip.
It normally retails for $129 + S&H. When compared to the cost of mechanic, tow truck or needing a brand-new tire… it truly is a no-brainer!
UPDATE: As of today, the Airmoto is 40% OFF. The Sale price is only $79.00 and FREE SHIPPING.
The amount of time, money and stress the Airmoto alleviates is well worth it. An easy way to check your pressure is one of the most difficult stressors for any road trip… Did I check the tires before-hand? Did I check it properly? When is the nearest gas station to pump back up?
Never worry about that again!
$79.00 is such a small price to pay to solve this once an for all.
